In promoting SaloneUfficio 2011, Cosmit is suggesting a special event for Saloni 2010, with an interactive installation and an experimental event to the theme of office space. The initiative will involve visitors with ideas, research analyses and recommendations for an innovative interpretation of the work space. The event will be held in the exhibition centre and promotes the next edition of SaloneUfficio 2011.
Sala Franci of the Fiera Milano Rho conference centre will be a space set up to showcase images,
ideas, and food for thought on the concept of “Ufficio Fabbrica Creativa. The Italian Way!”, a new way of creating, designing, and setting up the work space. In keeping with the image of Made in Italy, the new concept combines wellness and productivity, design and functionality.
The focus of this installation will be a workshop held on Friday, 16 April, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, which departs from the outdated concepts and suggests a new vision, which Cosmit calls the Italian Way.
The event will feature an innovative format, alternating opportunities for debate and discussion with fun and entertainment. The workshop will explore what the office means in terms of investment, as a way to attract the brightest talents and as a tool of communication for the corporate identity.
Talking about the office as the result of a carefully planned production process that considers a number of factors: Franco Guidi, C.E.O. of DEGW Italia; Enrico Cietta, economist and Diomedea partner; Giuseppe Varchetta, psychoanalyst; Paolo Del Debbio, columnist; Renato Mannheimer, president of Ispo; the sessions are coordinated by Antonello Piroso, director of LA7 News and “interrupted” by Enrico Bertolino.
The main issue of the debate will be results of the Assufficio research led by the Diomedea study team on the relationship between investment in the work space and economic performance, the position paper of DEGW Italia with a recommendation on a new paradigm for the office space, and the ISPO survey conducted by interviewing workers.
